KIDS NIGHT
OUT…FRIDAY NIGHTS
Creative Learning and CG’s
Prep Kitchen and
Café are collaborating to present this
awesome night out. Kids (ages 5 and up) arrive
from 5:30-6:00 PM and depart from 8-8:30
PM. In between, they’ll check out the
CG’s garden to find vegetables that are ready
for picking, prepare their own dinner (we’ll
check with you for menu choices), create
art and crafts, tell stories, and play games. Niki
and our staff are planning a very fun
time for all.
When: Friday nights
Cost: $20 (includes everything) group size is limited

MAKE A GARDEN STONE - Use our stones,
glass and letter stamps or bring your own artifacts to
impress or imbed.
When: Thursday, August 6, 12:30-3:00
Cost: $9 small $13 large

KIDS FLEA MARKET - Register to sell or
plan to shop for great deals.
What: Kids are in charge as they bring their once loved possessions to
sell or trade. We have room for 25 sellers along our store fronts and under the
overhang.
Cost: $2 for a 6'x8' space
How: Fill out a registration
form and bring in
or send in with $2 payment.
When: Saturday, July 25 10 AM-1 PM (set up starts at 9 AM)
SUMMER GAMES
What: Bring at least one friend and enjoy
a game experience with Bruce-our game guy. Learn a new
game or play an old favorite.
When: Every Wednesday 1-3 PM and Saturdays 1-6 PM
Who: Everyone

Storytime - Storytime is taking a vacation
this summer. We plan to continue it again in the
fall. Please check your local libraries for their
fantastic story actiivities.
FRUGAL FRIDAY - Every Friday is a day
to save at Creative Learning! Check out all the great
deals on tables outside our store.
Art Workshops - We know how summers go,
so these workshops are designed for children and adults
to participate in just one session, more than one or the
entire series. Since class sizes are small, the teacher will
be able to facilitate to match each person’s interest and skill level. Our
teachers are real working artists and are eager to share their enthusiasm.

DRAW AND PAINT –Each week we will focus on
a different theme and explore drawing and painting techniques
and materials, such as pencil, oil crayon, watercolor and
acrylic. Children may produce art that is suitable for
framing, or can be used as wrapping paper, or transferred
to fabric for pillow covers, clothing, etc. or cut up and
mounted for greeting cards.
Who: Ages 5 and up

YOUNG ARTISTS OPEN STUDIO-This is a “drop
in” class. Each
session will concentrate on a specific art media with lots
of freedom to explore.

3 and up
When: Thursdays 10-12 noon (arrive at
any time during this 2 hour session) July 16, July
23, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20
Cost: $4 per half hour, $6 per hour

PAPER MOSAICS-Create stunning art from recycled
magazines and catalogs.
Who: Ages 7 and up

ART FOR ADULTS-This is a night
away to be creative, spend time with friends and create
great art at the same time. Bring in photocopies
of your favorite or meaningful photos, wine labels, post
cards, tickets, words, articles, etc. and you’ll
create art using them. This class will be fun and
you’ll have
a meaningful masterpiece when it’s over. You
may want to have dinner at CG’s Café before
class, and ok to bring your favorite beverage.

stretched canvas additional charge)

CLAY CLASS –Learn about hand forming techniques
in this “vessel-making” class. Potter,
Phil Wilson, will share his expertise and you add the creativity.
When: Tuesday, August 11 from 4-5:30
PM for ages 7-12 from 6:30-8
PM for ages 12-adult; Everyone comes back to glaze Tuesday, August 18 anytime
between 5-7 PM
