We believe that everyone is born an artist and should have the opportunity to find the artist within. So often we hear parents say that their child won't attempt to draw or paint because they have been told they can't. Or won't buy paint because it's too messy. What are we thinking? The best art "kit" to buy a child (or an adult for that matter) is one filled with paints, crayons, colored pencils, markers and other media, scissors, glue, lots of different papers and clay. Here are some of our favorite books to get you started.
